By Harriet Wallace-Jones and Emma Sewell
London, UK
Wallace Sewell is a UK-Based, British design studio, established by Harriet Wallace-Jones and Emma Sewell. Working from London and Dorset, this progressive studio pioneers excellence and originality within their woven products. Wallace Sewell uses solely natural fibers in their scarves, throws and cushions.
The palette is anchored by deep peat, berry red tones infuse warmth, while the burst of orange adds a lively touch. Deep diesel and smokey green compliment the warm bulk of the scarf.
Inspired by Fred Ingrams' work, the Strathay design features bold stripes accented with small 'scratch' details scattered throughout, imitating the mark-making found in Ingrams' paintings. The design captures the essence of Ingrams' intricate textural elements, creating a unique and visually striking composition.
