Street View Journey. Screwed to the headquarters of her Japanese office, Nao Tatsumi uses Google Street View to “travel the world” in search of secret or neglected urban landscapes. Her paintings represent both time and space and the beauty of mysterious images of everyday life. “Even if it’s a place people don’t usually pay attention to,” Nao tells us, “we can still find a trivial scene attractive.” Nao was born and grew up in Fukushima, graduated from architectural design at the University of Tsukuba and is based in Tokyo.
