Ryan Greenheck

A native of Wisconsin, Greenheck earned a BFA and a BS in art education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and an MFA from SUNY College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 2004. He was a ceramics lecturer at University of Pennsylvania for 11 years, and presently works as a full-time potter in his Philadelphia studio.

His newest work focuses on modern forms, covered in mostly monochromatic glazes. This high-fire, wheel-thrown porcelain, he says, is an example of his “mature art form.”
