Mikhail, also known as Misha, the artist behind Ornatem, searches for new ways to discover the beauty of symmetry and harmony in his jewelry.  

Zakhalov was trained at the Odessa School of Art in Ukraine where he perfected his skills as a master Jeweler. In 2008, Mikhail was selected by a prestigious group of industry leaders from JCK Las Vegas Jewelry Show, awarded as ''Rising Star'' and was featured in the Design Center. Mikhail is credited with mastering the reproduction of the famous and intricate Faberge Egg designs for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He has been a Jewelry designer in America for the past twenty years.
