Tatsuya Otake

Tatsuya Otake open a jewelry and leather goods design studio in Brooklyn, New York, in 2015, after eight years as a creative director and producer at ad agencies and production companies. Born and raised in Japan, Tatsuya moved to Canada as a teen and attended college in Los Angeles. He returned to Toyko, then lived in Hawaii for a few years before settling in New York in 2011.

Tatsuya focuses on minimal design and organic shapes with a Japanese aesthetic. The Museum Store sells his hand-forged jewelry made from solid brass with a matte finish. Necklaces are gold filled, and earrings have sterling silver posts.
