Margo Selby is a British artist and designer working in woven textiles. Her work is characterized by its geometric construction in color and sits at the intersection of art, craft and design. Alongside her handwoven art practice, Margo oversees the work of the Margo Selby Studio designing for industry partners and the production of a wide range of textile applications.

Etch, in a subtle near-monochrome palette, pewter, black ecru and antique gold, is an iconic piece of apparel – a wearable work of art. This scarf, a cohesive piece of jacquard fabric, is woven in silk with a heat shrink yarn; its double cloth structure creates a unique three-dimensional quality and embossed pattern.

A Margo Selby silk scarf has a spontaneous and variable shape and when worn becomes a three-dimensional sculptural object full of life, rather than a flat design.
