Ben Busko of New York City created this limited-edition, custom decoupage tray using an old Life magazine photographer’s stamp to complement the current LIFE Magazine and the Power of Photography exhibition. During its weekly run from 1936 to 1972, Life magazine was responsible for some 120,000 photo stories. These were selected from around 10 million photographs. To keep all of these press prints organized, Life used this stamp to track the photographer, the quantity and type of film submitted, the story’s name, shooting date for the pictures, and more.
