Regular price $ 5.25Arnhem Land is a historical region of the Northern Territory of Australia, A traditional story from the Aboriginal tribes of that area tells of Black Cockatoo and her husband Crow, who were Bird-people. They grew black feathers after becoming afflicted with a sickness from across the sea to the north. They escaped by transforming into birds and flying high into the sky.
Daniel Mackie is the artist behind The DM Collection. His animal watercolors are inspired by Japanese prints, the striking motifs of Art Deco and the Arts and Crafts Movement. The designs celebrate the harmonious accord between highly stylized forms and flowing lines of nature creating decorative art that lift the spirit and warm the heart.
