Aquamarine Coins with Pearl Necklace
Regular price $ 215.00by Kara Raymond Studio
Doylestown, PA
Kara Raymond creates & designs with Mokume Gane, a 17th-century Japanese technique of fusing, forging, and carving different metals. This technique offers her a broad creative pallet of patterns and textures.
Raymond hand designs and hand fabricates each of her pieces, working with Sterling silver, 18 & 22K gold, and copper; as well as using semi precious stones and pearls expanding her color and texture pallet. Shape, texture, and wearability are key elements in Kara's design. Each piece is different from the next, each with an organic quality balanced with symmetry.
"I love the versatility of mother nature in different metals how they shape, form & fuse and the various colors that stones and pearls offer."
