Regular price $ 598.00Matt Kolbrener has been honing his glass blowing and sculpting techniques since 2007 by working with and studying under world-class artists and craftspeople. Inspired by the post-industrial landscapes of Detroit, Matt's approach to shaping hot glass has its roots in the imagery of industry.
His work explores the medium’s unique, prismatic interaction with light, and focuses on texture and tactility. All of Matt’s pieces are handblown, cast, and coldworked in his Detroit studio where he captures Detroit's rich aesthetic history in an industrial, modern, retro style all his own.
