Incalmo is the Italian technique of joining two separately blown glass pieces together while hot to produce a single object. The process requires time and precision. The colored "cups" must be measured exactly and joined together carefully and confidently to prevent the trapping of unwanted air bubbles.
For over 20 years, Chad has been mastering this technique, fascinated by the challenges it presents and the simple, elegant results.
