Beth DiCara is known primarily for her work in ceramics and sculpture. Based in Jersey City, New Jersey, she has been a "maker" all her life, exploring various mediums before specializing in clay.
DiCara's artistic journey includes a range of creative pursuits, such as making hooked rugs, painting, stained glass, weaving, carpentry, and welding, but she found her true medium in clay in the early 1990s. She describes working with clay as "sensuous - immediate - and has endless possibilities"
